Terms & Conditions

This Terms and Conditions are effective from 1st July 2007 until further notice.

All website users are advised to carefully read and understand the terms and conditions before finalising the purchase. Once you have placed an order, you accept and agree with all terms and conditions set out below.

Modification of these terms and conditions

We reserve the right to change the terms, conditions and notices under which this website is offered as well as the contents of this website. This right shall not affect the existing terms and conditions accepted by you upon making a legitimate purchase using this website. 

This Agreement is to be interpreted in accordance with English Law but may be subject for consumers to the jurisdiction of the English, Welsh, Northern Irish or Scottish courts at the claimant's choice.

Contact will be made with customers via the e-mail address provided at the time of placing an order or by telephone in respect to any communication regarding the purchased product.   Evidence of the e-mail dispatch will be accepted as evidence of receipt.

Business Hours: Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Messages received outside of these hours are not valid until the next working day.

Payment
You are required to enter a valid credit/debit card number, which will be charged by Mondo Fiorentino in British Pounds for the full amount of the product purchase.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all the information provided by you is correct at the time of submission. Similarly we also require you to check the details of your purchase confirmation to ensure that all details are correct.

Should the credit/debit card be declined we reserve the right to cancel your order. If multiple products are purchased but have different delivery time your credit/debit card will be charged for the full amount.

Our payment system is PROTX, an approved provider for Lloyds TSB Cardnet which is one of the largest and safest payment service provider. They meet the highest security standards to secure sensitive data.

Credit Card
Mondo Fiorentino will accept Visa, MasterCard, Electron, Delta, Maestro Solo and America Express.

You can safely enter your credit/debit card details via our secure system making all submitted information encrypted.

Our payment gateway supports Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.

Payments offline
Should you prefer to place an order offline with Mondo Fiorentino UK please call 01488 640507 or simply fill in the "CONTACT US" Form providing name and contact number, one of our representatives will call you back as soon as possible.

Never email your credit/debit card details as this is not a secure method.

Bank Transfer/Cheque Payments
If you would like to pay using a bank transfer facility or by cheque, do not proceed with the online purchase, instead please send your order by email to sales@mondofiorentino.co.uk and our customer service will call you as soon as possible with our banking details.

Your order will be put on hold until funds are received.

A fax copy of your bank transfer is necessary to validate your order which will then be processed and shipped out. Bank transfer fees are the customer's responsibility.

If paying by cheque please make your cheque payable to Mondo Fiorentino and mail it to 26a Prospect Road, Hungerford, RG17 0JL Berkshire (UK)

Security
We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all credit card transactions are secure. However, if unauthorized charges appear on your credit card statement for the card used on a link through our web site, we shall not be liable.

Delivery
DELIVERIES IN THE UK AND IRELAND ONLY

• Orders will normally be processed as soon as they are received via the purchase system, business hours Monday to Friday 09.30 - 17.30. Orders received outside these hours will be processed the next business day.

• We only ship using trusted couriers like UPS, GLS and DHL. A Tracking Code will be provided for you to monitor the progress of your shipment. Please note that delivery times are only after the goods have left the warehouse in Italy, the estimated time of 2/3 working days refers to the time it takes for the goods to leave the factory after the order is received.

• A more accurate delivery time which is based on UPS, DHL, GLS and DPD Standard service will be confirmed by email.

• Shipping takes place only on working days, dispatches will not be made on weekends and public holidays.

• We will not deliver to PO Boxes or Armed forces addresses.

Goods will only be delivered to the shipping address provided during the payment process.

In the event no one is present during delivery , a card will be left notifying you of the first delivery attempt and instructions of how to rearrange delivery.

It is your responsibility to liaise with the courier firm.

Any undue care from the customer's part, i.e. neglecting to rearrange a delivery therefore causing the goods to be returned to the factory will attract an administration charge of £25 and the order cancelled. 

Refunds will only be processed once the goods are received by the factory and inspected for any damage.

• Delivery timescales will be within the specified time by email following the purchase confirmation stage. We will make every effort to deliver goods within the specified timescale.
• Delivery times are estimates and should not be taken as guaranteed delivery times especially during peak seasons i.e. Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s day.
 

Cancellations/Returns

Cancellations received whilst goods are still in transit, i.e not yet delivered will attract a £25 delivery charge.

Summer Holidays
During the period 1/31 August delivery time scale will be extended due to the production line being shut down for the summer holiday.

Christmas Holidays
Orders must reach us by 16th December 2008 to guarantee delivery by 23rd December.

• If your goods are not received within the specified time scale, please email us with your order ID number, name and contact number so can help you track your order.

• Delivery charges are specified during the purchasing stage.

In the unlikely event any of the item(s) ordered not being available you can choose either to have the value of the item refunded back to the debit/credit card or be given an alternative choice.
 

Website Images and Colours
Dimensions and weights are expressed in metric values where available, we will try our best to display them as accurate as possible. Our pictures give a fair representation of colours, although we ask you to be aware that at times different leather batches may come in slightly altered shade of colour. We also cannot guarantee an exact match to the product as displayed on your screen.

Copyright and Trademarks
The contents of this entire website is protected by copyright, and where applicable unregistered and registered trademark law. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from this website. Any persons breaching any of the terms of the use of this website will be prosecuted.

This website may contain hyperlinks to web sites operated by parties other than us. Such hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. We do not control such web sites and is not responsible for their contents. The inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.

Waiver
You represent that you are of sufficient legal age to use this site and to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of this site. You understand that you are financially responsible for all users of this site by you and those using your login information, and will indemnify us for all losses it may suffer as a result of your unauthorised use of the credit card.

As a condition of your use of this website, you undertake to us that you will not use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions and notices.

We are not in anyway liable in respect of any damage or loss of whatsoever nature suffered by you arising from or in any way connected with the use of this website.
